Who We Are
Jessica Severns was a high school teacher for over a decade. During that time, she saw the challenges that students faced daily, and the struggle schools had addressing those problems in meaningful ways that connected with kids. Michael Spillane has been working in professional wrestling since 1994. A performer, promoter, and the author of 10 books on wrestling, he has a lifetime of knowledge and experience. Together they envisioned a show designed to speak to kids, and an organization unlike anything else on the market today. From this, Wrestlers 4 Change was born. Wrestlers 4 Change was founded to help kids tackle the issues that plague America’s youth, and help schools present State standards in a new and unique way.
What makes a Wrestlers 4 Change event one-of-a-kind is the way lessons unfold in the hands of our star-studded cast. The Wrestlers 4 Change ring acts as a stage for skits to come to life. Combining storytelling, athleticism, and crowd interaction, our two “hero” teams, one “villain” team, and one “comedy” team portray real life struggles students can relate to. The Wrestlers 4 Change mission is that by the end of the event, every kid will know they have a champion in their corner.
